Nobel Presentations + Opera

A busy week for our Grade 6’s

Just left a fantastic initiative in Grade 6. The students investigated different Nobel Prize winners in Science classes. The parents were then invited to walk around in our lab, talking to these ‘Nobel Laureates’ – students dressed and acting as these people, telling about their discoveries. The students looked the part (dressed in lab coats with ‘their’ Nobel prize hanging proudly around their necks. Thanks to Mr Cevert and Ms Larsson.

SIS has a Nobel Lunch tomorrow with three courses and our caterers serving. The Head Chef attends with all the chefs serving and talking with our students.

Our Grade 6 students visited a dress rehearsal at the Stockholm Opera House. They were rehearsing ‘The Magic Flute’ – maybe not the students usual taste in music, but it was appreciated. Thanks to Ms. Thompson for organising this.
